Nikon Z6 III Kit (Z 180-600mm F5.6-6.3 VR) Black

Overview

The Nikon Z6 III Kit pairs the advanced full-frame hybrid camera with the powerful NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR super-telephoto zoom lens. The Z6 III features the world's first partially stacked CMOS sensor, delivering high-speed performance and exceptional image quality in a compact body. The Z 180-600mm lens provides an impressive focal range for wildlife, sports, and aviation photography, all in a lightweight, internal-zoom design.

Key Features

Exceptional Still Performance

  • 24.5MP Partially-Stacked CMOS Sensor – Delivers outstanding image quality with a 3.5x faster readout than the Z6 II, minimizing rolling shutter.

  • 120fps Burst with Pre-Release Capture – Capture up to 120 fps with AF/AE tracking, recording up to 1 second before the shutter is fully pressed.

  • World's Brightest EVF – 5760k-dot OLED viewfinder with brightness and DCI-P3 colour gamut for exceptional clarity.

Professional Video Capabilities

  • 6K 60p Internal RAW Recording – 12-bit N-RAW and ProRes RAW HQ in-camera for maximum post-production flexibility.

  • 4K 120p & Full HD 240p – High-frame-rate video for dramatic slow-motion effects.

  • Extended Recording – Record 4K UHD/60p for up to 125 minutes with efficient heat dissipation.

Advanced Autofocus System

  • 9 Subject Detection Types – Deep-learning AF for people, animals, birds, vehicles, and aircraft, inherited from the Z9 and Z8.

  • 273 AF Points with 3D-Tracking – Reliable focus tracking across the frame, with low-light performance down to -10 EV.

  • Auto Capture – Unattended operation with pre-set shooting criteria for remote capture.

Stabilization & Rugged Build

  • 8-Stop 5-Axis IBIS – Industry-leading in-body stabilization with Focus Point VR for sharp handheld shots.

  • Dust & Drip-Resistant Construction – Durable magnesium alloy body tested down to -10°C.

  • Dual Card Slots – CFexpress Type B / XQD and SD UHS-II for flexible recording and backup options.

NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Lens

  • Super-Telephoto Zoom Range – 180-600mm covers distant wildlife, sports, and aviation subjects.

  • Internal Zoom Mechanism – 70-degree zoom ring rotation with lens length unchanged, maintaining balance and preventing dust ingress.

  • 5.5-Stop Vibration Reduction – Lens-based optical stabilization for sharp handheld telephoto shots.

  • Lightweight Design – without a tripod collar, making it remarkably portable for a super-telephoto lens.

  • Close Focusing – 1.3m minimum focus distance at 180mm for versatile close-up opportunities.

  • Quick & Quiet AF – Stepping motor (STM) delivers fast, silent autofocus ideal for wildlife and video.

Conclusion

The Nikon Z6 III, paired with the Nikkor Z 180-600mm F5.6-6.3 VR lens, is a robust, professional-grade combination that strikes a balance between speed, reach, and image quality. For photographers seeking versatility in capturing distant subjects with precision, this setup is a compelling choice.
