At Barylphoto UK Limited, we provide high-quality camera equipment, we provide our own comprehensive UK-based warranty to ensure your gear is protected.

1. Warranty Coverage Periods

We provide a limited warranty on all hardware purchased directly from our store:

  • Cameras, Camera Lenses, and Camcorders: 3 Years (36 Months) from the date of delivery.

  • Accessories (e.g., batteries, chargers, flashes, grips): 30 Days from the date of delivery.

2. Who Provides the Warranty?

The warranty is provided and honored directly by Barylphoto UK Limited. We take full responsibility for coordinating repairs or replacements through our network of professional UK-based service centers.

3. What is Covered?

This warranty covers internal hardware defects and manufacturing faults that occur during normal use. This includes:

  • Sensor defects or electronic malfunctions.

  • Autofocus motor failure.

  • Optical defects not caused by impact.

  • Factory-related mechanical issues.

4. What is Not Covered?

The warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors, including but not limited to:

  • Accidental Damage: Drops, impacts, or crushed components.

  • Environmental Damage: Water damage, moisture/fungus, sand, or extreme heat.

  • Misuse: Software "bricking" via unofficial firmware, or damage caused by third-party batteries/chargers.

  • Wear and Tear: Cosmetic scratches, rubber grip peeling, or shutter wear beyond the rated lifespan.

  • Unauthorized Repair: Any attempt to open or repair the device by a third party voids this warranty.

5. How to Make a Claim

  1. Contact Us: Email support@barylphoto.com with your order number and a description (plus photos/video) of the fault.

  2. Assessment: We will provide an initial assessment. If the fault is covered, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

  3. Shipping: Barylphoto UK Limited provide a shipping label to ship back the item to our UK service center. If the fault is confirmed as a manufacturing defect, we will cover the cost of return shipping back to you.

  4. Resolution: We will first attempt to repair the item. If a repair is not possible, we will replace it with a like-for-like model or offer a pro-rata refund if no replacement is available.


Warranty FAQs

Where is my camera repaired? We work with specialized, authorized service centers right here in the UK. This ensures your equipment is handled by professionals and returned to you as quickly as possible.

Does this warranty affect my statutory rights? No. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles you to a repair, replacement, or refund for faulty goods.

Can I take my lens to a local shop for repair under this warranty? No. All warranty repairs must be authorized and handled by Barylphoto UK Limited. Any unauthorized third-party repairs will void your coverage with us.
